Flexible connections

Flexible connections, also called cuffs or flexibles.

These connect installations that move independently of each other, where there is often no fixed connection possible.
Think of sieve / shaker installation for the food and cement industry.

These flexible connections ensure that vibrations and sound cannot be transferred and that metal fatigue, etc. is considerably reduced.
Because of their flexible character, these are easy to assemble.

Cuffs are assembled in different ways; from simple single-walled sleeves to sleeves with 3 layers.
Round, rectangular or a combination. With an elastic or hem in the hem.

Flexibility and abrasion resistance are two important parameters here.

An anti-static finish is often required here.
All applications can be supplied with a certificate of conformity (COC) for use in the pharmaceutical and food industry.

The most common fibers are;

Polyamide, Polyester and Meta- and ParaAramid.

But also the less common fibers such as PAC, PPS, PTFE are often available with us, with or without antistatic properties.

The most common sectors are;

  • Heavy industry
  • Wood processing industry
  • Cement industry
  • Pharmacy
  • Food industry
  • Mills
  • Recycling
