Wax for greasing flatwork ironer beds. Our wax has a golden combination of a high melting point and a high temperature resistance (up to 250°C), together with a antistatic and cleansing effect. Available per 1, 5 and 20 kg.

Our sophisticated ironer wax is unique because of it's multiple strong properties:

  • Cleansing effect.  Alkaline deposits (soap residues) are reduced.
  • Antistatic.  The continuous friction of the roller needlefelt may cause static electricity.  This attracts synthetic textiles to the needlefelt, and this is detrimental for the fluent conduction of the linen.  Our wax helps preventing this.
  • High temperature resistance, up to 250°C.  Our wax is suited for all types of flatwork ironers.
  • High melting point.  This is the temperature at which the wax becomes soft and can be applied.  Because of the high melting point, the was is spreaded evenly over the whole ironer bed.  If the melting point would be lower, the wax would accumulate mostly at the beginning of the ironer bed.  Moreover, a high melting point makes the wax to adhere well to the ironer chest and erodes less fast.  All this makes our ironer wax very economical in use.

This wax is especially suited for a ironer speed up to 25 meter per minut.  For ironers working at a high throughput speed we recommend our HIGH-POWER HPE ironer wax.

Ironer wax should be applied using a wax cloth.  We provide these in different sizes and finishes.
