Polyester GAF filter bag Size 1 for industrial liquid filtration. Made of dimensionally stable needle felt with support scrim and a welded plastic ring. Available in 1, 5, 25, 50 and 100 micron.
These GAF filter bags are designed for reliable liquid filtration in industrial bag filter housings. The correct version is determined by the size, filter material and required micron rating.
The GAF filter bags in Size 1 have approximate dimensions of Ø 180 × 430 mm. If you require a longer version, view our polyester GAF filter bag Size 2.
Always check whether the selected size is suitable for the existing filter housing.
Our GAF filter bags are made of polyester needle felt with support scrim, heat-set and fitted with a welded plastic ring. Polyester (PES) is a strong choice for general industrial applications where a dimensionally stable filter bag or higher temperature resistance is required.
For applications where polypropylene is better suited to the liquid or process, you can choose a polypropylene GAF filter bag Size 1 or a polypropylene GAF filter bag Size 2. For critical applications, always check the chemical and thermal compatibility.
The lower the micron rating, the finer the filtration.
The appropriate micron rating depends on factors including particle size, the liquid, the required level of filtration and the permitted pressure drop.
Other sizes and finishes are available on request.

Coarser filter media generally have a higher air permeability than finer versions. These air-permeability values are primarily intended to compare the different filter media under identical test conditions and do not represent the liquid flow rate in an installation.
