The TAPEMATIC EVOLVE is a cordless ultrasonic welder for ironer guide tape, designed for fast and reliable joining of guide tape. Its battery-powered design allows fully wireless operation without a mains cable. Welding the tape instead of tying it creates a flat joint without a knot.
This helps to minimise marking on the linen and reduces mechanical stress on the guide tape. As a result, it can help extend the service life of the tape and reduce the frequency of replacement.
The TAPEMATIC EVOLVE is lightweight, compact and easy to operate. The welding time can be adjusted using a control knob, and the device stops automatically once the selected welding time has been reached.
A fully charged battery provides up to 2,000 welds, making the device particularly practical for maintenance and guide tape installation on industrial flatwork ironers.
The unit is supplied complete with a Makita battery and charger.
The ultrasonic welding process can be used with weldable ironer guide tapes containing polyester, including various polyester and Aramid/Polyester qualities.
Because the joint is produced using ultrasonic vibration, no conventional heating of the welding tool is required. This allows fast and efficient operation.
For best results, we recommend joining the guide tape according to the welding pattern shown below.
