Selecting the correct ironer felt is essential for reliable ironer operation, even pressure distribution and consistent finishing quality.
Solana supplies different types of ironer felts for professional and industrial laundries. Depending on the ironer type, operating temperature, roll diameter and original machine configuration, a distinction is made between wrap-around ironer felts and heavy MONO ironer felts.
Our range includes polyester, Meta-Aramid and PTFE-containing constructions, covering standard applications as well as demanding high-temperature operating conditions.
Wrap-around felts are relatively thin ironer felts installed in several windings around the ironer roll.
Different materials, weights and thicknesses allow the padding construction to be matched to the machine and its operating conditions.

MONO ironer felts have a fundamentally different construction from conventional wrap-around felts.
These heavy felts are installed as one thick layer around the ironer roll. Depending on the machine and configuration, the felt can be finished with a sewn joint or a prepared bevelled overlap.
