Polyester Filter Pockets 400 g/m²

These 400 g/m² polyester filter pockets are a lightweight standard version for industrial dust collection and filtration. The filter pockets have a finished width of 495 mm and are available in five different lengths.

The filter medium is made from 100% polyester and combines a relatively low material weight with good air permeability of 200 l/dm²/min at 200 Pa.

This version is suitable for applications where no antistatic or special surface treatment is required.

For Standard Industrial Dust Collection

PES 400 is a good choice for general dry dust collection applications where a simple and reliable polyester quality is sufficient.

The filter pockets are used in filtration systems from manufacturers including DCE Donaldson, Poeth and Cipres.

Each filter pocket is finished with:

• a felt cuff at the top for reliable sealing
• a flat-stitched bottom
• a fixed finished width of 495 mm
• a choice of five different lengths

Good Air Permeability

With an air permeability of 200 l/dm²/min at 200 Pa, this lightweight polyester quality provides good airflow through the filter medium.

The overall performance of a filtration system depends not only on air permeability, but also on factors such as the type of dust, filter loading, total filtration area and cleaning system.

Continuous Operating Temperature up to 150 °C

The polyester filter medium is suitable for a continuous operating temperature of up to 150 °C, with a short-term peak temperature of up to 185 °C.

When Should You Choose a Different Version?

This PES 400 version is not antistatic.

If antistatic properties are required, our 400 g/m² antistatic polyester filter pocket is a more suitable choice.

For applications involving very fine dust particles or where surface filtration is required, versions with an ePTFE membrane are also available.
