Supertape-13 is an extra-thin and highly stable Aramid/Polyester ironer guide tape, developed for professional and industrial flatwork ironers operating at temperatures up to 195 °C. The tape is 13 mm wide and supplied on 400 metre spools.
The combination of high tear strength and stable guidance helps the tape remain reliably positioned during operation. Its thin construction helps keep marking on the linen to a minimum, while also reducing cutting and mechanical stress on the ironer felt.
Supertape-13 is suitable for gas- and steam-heated flatwork ironers and is particularly well suited to laundries where high finishing quality, reliable linen guidance and long service life are important.
For ironers operating at high speeds or equipped with three rolls, the mechanical and thermal load on the guide tape increases. Under these conditions, we generally recommend Supertape-2000, a stronger and more wear-resistant quality suitable for temperatures up to 210 °C. When a 3-roll ironer also operates at high speed, we generally recommend Supertape Gas-Oil, the most robust ironer guide tape in our range.
The guide tape can be both tied and ultrasonically welded. A welded joint creates a flat connection without a knot and can therefore further reduce marking on the linen. For a quick and neat joint, our ultrasonic welder for ironer guide tape can be used.
