Wax 'n clean cloths do the waxing and the cleaning at the same time, therefore being more time efficient as when using 2 seperate cloths.

Depending to the size of the ironer, the size of the cloth is chosen.  A ironer of 3m wide, goes i.e. well with a cloth of 1m50.  The cloth is put through the ironer twice, once left and once right.

Our wax 'n clean cloths are equipped with a flap in impervious silicone to cover the cleaning wax.  This prevents the wax from touching the roller needlefelt.  This is very important, since wax would saturate the needlefelt and reduce permeability.  The needlefelt would also attract dirt and transfer this to the linen.

Pockets are stiched, to make dosing easy, and to keep the wax in place underneath the silicone flap.

Furthermore, we use carefully selected steel wool for our abrasive strips, resulting in a soft cleaning of the ironer bed.  When cleaning happens too agressive, this would cause scratches and possible damage.  Our scouring strips do not cause discolourings, like what over time happens with scouring mat.

Additionally, a dirt/spill remover strip is attached.  It removes excessive wax, detached residues and metal particles.  This maintains the service life of your needlefelt.

Our cloths are made of sturdy cotton.  It is easily fed through all types of ironers.  Some use nomex instead.  But this is completely unnecessary and makes it only more expensive.
