Cleaning Cloths for Flatwork Ironer Chests

These professional cleaning cloths are designed for the periodic cleaning and polishing of flatwork ironer chests in industrial laundries. The combination of steel wool strips and aramid polishing felt helps remove adhering dirt and accumulated deposits from the chest surface.

Cleaning and polishing in one operation

The steel wool strips provide effective mechanical cleaning of the ironer chest. They help loosen dirt and deposits that accumulate on the chest surface during operation.

The aramid polishing felt complements the cleaning action and helps polish the surface of the ironer chest. Cleaning and polishing are therefore combined in a single maintenance cloth.

Available dimensions

The cleaning cloths are available in the following dimensions:

• 150 cm wide × approx. 120 cm long
• 180 cm wide × approx. 120 cm long
• 220 cm wide × approx. 120 cm long

Select the appropriate width according to the working width of the ironer and the cleaning method used. If necessary, a narrower cloth can be passed successively through different sections of the ironer chest.

Instructions for use

For best results, use the cleaning cloth while the ironer chest is still at operating temperature. Feed the cloth evenly through the ironer and always follow the machine manufacturer’s maintenance and safety instructions.

Before use, verify that a cleaning cloth containing steel wool is suitable for the type and finish of your ironer chest.
