Ultragrip 100% polyester ironer guide tape, 13 mm wide and heat resistant up to 180 °C. Herringbone weave for extra grip and reliable linen guidance, especially for synthetic textiles. Robust construction with long service life. 400 m spool.
Ultragrip is a robust 100% polyester ironer guide tape, developed for applications where extra grip and reliable linen transport are important. The tape is 13 mm wide, heat resistant up to 180 °C and supplied on 400 metre spools.
The distinctive feature of Ultragrip is its special herringbone weave. This gives the surface of the tape more texture and grip, helping the linen to be reliably transported and guided through the flatwork ironer.
This additional grip is particularly useful for laundries processing large quantities of synthetic textiles. Synthetic materials can be more difficult to transport through the ironer than materials such as cotton. The textured surface of Ultragrip helps provide stable guidance for these fabrics.
Ultragrip is slightly thicker than an average polyester guide tape. Its robust construction provides good wear resistance and long service life, while the specific weave places the emphasis on grip and reliable linen guidance.
The tape is suitable for gas- and steam-heated flatwork ironers. When an ironer operates close to the maximum working temperature of this polyester tape, higher operating speeds can generate additional heat through increased friction. Under these conditions, an Aramid-reinforced quality can provide greater temperature reserve, such as Supertape-13 or Supertape-2000.
The guide tape can be both tied and ultrasonically welded. A welded joint creates a flat connection without a knot. For a quick and neat joint, our ultrasonic welder for ironer guide tape can be used.
