Supertape-2000 is an extra-strong and wear-resistant Aramid/Polyester ironer guide tape, developed for professional and industrial flatwork ironers exposed to higher mechanical and thermal loads. The tape is 13 mm wide, heat resistant up to 210 °C and supplied on 400 metre spools.
Supertape-2000 is stronger than Supertape-13 and is therefore particularly suitable for high-speed flatwork ironers and 3-roll ironers. In both applications, increased friction places additional mechanical and thermal stress on the guide tape, resulting in higher operating temperatures and increased wear.
Its robust construction and high wear resistance provide stable and reliable linen guidance together with a long service life. At the same time, the tape provides sufficient grip for dependable operation while helping to keep both marking on the linen and cutting into the ironer felt to a minimum.
Supertape-2000 is suitable for gas- and steam-heated flatwork ironers. When an ironer combines both high operating speeds and a three-roll configuration, the load on the guide tape increases even further. For these most demanding applications, we generally recommend our Supertape Gas-Oil ironer guide tape, the strongest guide tape in our range.
The guide tape can be both tied and ultrasonically welded. A welded joint creates a flat connection without a knot and can therefore further reduce marking on the linen. For a quick and neat joint, our ultrasonic welder for ironer guide tape can be used.
