Supertape Gas-Oil Ironer Guide Tape for the Heaviest Loads up to 230 °C

Supertape Gas-Oil is the strongest ironer guide tape in our range and is designed for professional and industrial flatwork ironers exposed to high mechanical and thermal loads. The tape is made from Aramid/Polyester, is 13 mm wide, heat resistant up to 230 °C and supplied on 400 metre spools.

This quality is particularly suitable for high-performance flatwork ironers, where high production speeds and demanding machine configurations result in increased friction, heat generation and wear.

Supertape Gas-Oil performs particularly well on 3-roll ironers. In these machines, the individual rolls operate at slightly different circumferential speeds. This creates additional friction within the guide system, placing greater mechanical stress on the guide tape, generating more heat and increasing wear.

When a 3-roll ironer also operates at high speed, these loads increase even further. For this combination of high speed and three rolls, we generally recommend Supertape Gas-Oil as the most robust quality in our range.

Its very strong and wear-resistant construction ensures stable and reliable linen guidance, even under demanding operating conditions. At the same time, the tape helps keep both marking on the linen and cutting into the ironer felt to a minimum.

Thanks to its high heat resistance and robust construction, Supertape Gas-Oil is particularly suitable for applications where lighter guide tape qualities wear more quickly or reach their thermal limits. For less demanding applications, Supertape-2000 or Supertape-13 may be a suitable choice.

The guide tape can be both tied and ultrasonically welded. A welded joint creates a flat connection without a knot and can therefore further reduce marking on the linen. For a quick and neat joint, our ultrasonic welder for ironer guide tape can be used.
